ESTIMATING POOL CAPACITY IN GALLONS

Rectangular Pool: Capacity in gallons is equal to the length times the width times the average depth (in feet) times 7.5
L x W x D x 7.5 = gallons of water in pool
Round Pool: Capacity in gallons is equal to Pi (3.14) times the radius squared time the depth (in feet) times 7.5
3.14 x r2 x D x 7.5 = gallons of water in pool
Oval pool: Capacity in gallons is equal to length times width times average depth (in feet) times 7.5
L x W x D x 7.5 = gallons of water in pool

HASA SUPER STAIN-OUT REDUCES DISCOLORED NEW PLASTER

Hasa Super Stain-Out reduces the problems with discolored new plaster and their owners.
For new pools or newly plastered pools, add Hasa Super Stain-Out with the fill water. This will prevent stains caused by contaminates in the source water such as high calcium, iron, or copper just to name a few.

TARGETING SPOTS ON THE BOTTOM OF POOL

Black Algae spots can be tough to get at, especially when it is on the bottom of the deep end of the pool. HASA Algi-ban® will do the trick, but if you want to make sure that you get the Hasa Algi-ban® directly where its needed, you can use a telepole or a long piece of PVC pipe. Just put the pipe in the pool, pour a small amount of Algi-ban® down the pipe, and direct it to the spot. Rinse the pole or pipe after application.

 WIPE OUT ALGAE

When treating your pool with HASA Algi-control® to kill gross green and yellow algae, it is best to treat the water at the end of the day or early evening. Simply add Algi-control® along the pool edges, leave the filter running over night, then clean or backwash the filter the following day. This should be enough to eliminate the algae and prevent other algae growth.

 LIQUID CHLORINE VS. DRY CHLORINE

There are several advantages to choosing liquid chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite) over a dry tablet system:

First, it's far more soluble. Meaning it dissolves easily into the water, leaving you with clearer water faster.

Second, it's easy to use. Simply pour the designated amount directly into the swimming pool. If you want to make things even easier, get a liquid chlorine feeder such as The Liquidator®. That way you will not have to change the chlorine for up to 4 weeks.

Third, it works faster. In the water it immediately turns to Hypochlorous Acid, this is the killing form of chlorine, and it goes to work the second it's poured into the pool.

Fourth, it's safer. You will not have to worry about having a tablet feeder floating around in your pool all of the time, which can be unsafe for children and pets.
